MP for Pru West and Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways, Hon Stephen Jalulah, through Sponsorship from Madamfo Ghana Foundation, a Ghanaian NGO with funding from Germany has constructed 2 No. 6-unit classroom blocks with furniture, office, staff room, WC toilet and mechanized boreholes for Ofori Atta D/A Primary School at Dama Nkwanta and SDA Primary School at Abease.

The project was secured through a proposal from the MO’s office. The process was led by Hon Stephen Jalulah whose interest was to see all children of school-going age get adequate access to equitable and quality education in line with the NPP government policy.

At the ceremony, Hon Stephen Jalulah was very delighted with the edifice and urged the Ghana Education Service, PTA/SMC to take good care of the facility. He urged them to prioritize maintenance.

The Hon. MP promised that he will continue to lobby Madamfo Ghana Foundation and other development partners to make sure the district gets out of the social infrastructure challenges.

He promised that he will continue to submit proposals to the NGO and its partners to construct more schools, CHPS Compounds and water facilities to enable the district to meet its target of the SGDs.

The MP noted that this was the second phase of commissioning after five mechanized boreholes were constructed through the same arrangements at Tigamgam, Abua, Senyase and Dama Nkwanta.

He expressed his profound gratitude to the foundation for its partnership role in National Development.

The Hon MP and Deputy Minister used the occasion to educate his constituents on the E-levy policy. He clarified and indicated that the policy is not a permanent initiative but to help build the economy after the COVI-19 havoc.

In attendance were the District Chief Executive, Hon David Manu, District Coordinating Director Mr. Abdul-Aziz Jafaru, District Director of Education Mr. Evans Kofi Matti, District Planning Officer Mr. Daniel Nnebini, District Works Engineer Mr. Mensah Bosco, representatives of Madamfo Ghans, Traditional Authorities, teachers and community members.
