President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed some twenty-four (24) new District Chief Executives (DCEs) for various districts across the country.
The decision follows an earlier dismissal of 24 DCEs.
The president did not give reasons for the termination of the appointment of the 24 DCEs.
They are: Martina Appiah Nyantakyi of Ahafo Ano North, Nii Larteh Ollenu of Mansie West, Daniel Owuredu of Nkoranza South, Alhaji Abdulai Adams of Pru East, and Gmasombe Jerome Kofi Gyimah of Sene East, among others.
However, the president in another letter dated February 3, 2024 nominated the replacement for the dismissed DCEs.
