Mr. Owusu-Bio disclosed that the facility is 70 to 80 percent complete adding that “the structures are in place; what is left is with the fittings which he has promised to complete by August this year.”

Speaking to journalists during a tour of the construction site at Bohye a suburb of Kwabenya in Accra on Thursday, the Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources noted that the Contractor is a good “developer who is true to his words”. https://mypublisher24.com/vehicle-registration-peaks-at-dvla-office-in-sunyani/

“Hopefully by September DVLA will relocate to this place” he stated.

In view of the vast land available in the current place, the Minister explained that the DVLA can expand, “even the work they do is expanding, and we made sure we give them more land for their future expansion.”

Kwasi Agyemang Busia, Chief Executive of the Authority was also happy with the progress of work.

He said he is expecting project completion by the end of August or September.

Indicating that there is a lot of work to do, he disclosed that the new office edifice will also have schools for kids, ATM farms, canteens among other facilities to serve their purpose. https://citinewsroom.com/2022/12/dvla-announces-guidelines-for-2023-vehicle-registration/

The DVLA CEO however, bemoaned the bad road network leading to the site stressing “we are working with the Minster of Lands and Feeder Roads to make sure we have good roads leading to this place.”

DVLA Board Chair, Mr. Frank Davis was optimistic the project would be completed as scheduled.

My projection was in December, but the contractor has assured me that by August we will move in, so I am taking his word for it.”
