The Ghana Police Service has arrested five persons in connection with the murder of the owner of the safari resort in Jirapa in the Upper West Region, commonly referred to as “Jirapa Dubai”.
The suspects, Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix and Michael Klugey all workers at Cossy Hill Hotel are in Police custody assisting the investigation.
This brings to five arrests following an earlier arrest of another suspect, Kumbata Kwaku.
According to a press statement, the arrest followed an investigation initiated by the Regional Crime Scene Management Team upon their visit to the site of the incident.
Mr Eric Johnson was found lying in a pool of blood at his private residence on Sunday, February 11.
The Inspector-General of Police then deployed a team of investigators and experts led by the Director-General/CID to work with the Upper West Regional Police Command to ensure a thorough investigation into the incident.
