The Supreme Court has released its decision that restrains Mr James Gyakye Quayson from holding himself as the Member of Parliament for Assin North in the Central Region.
The Lord Justices of the Court, in a 5-2 decision ordered the MP not to carry out his parliamentary duties any longer.
The majority decision was taken by Justices Jones Dotse, Prof Ashie Kotey, Mariama Owusu, Gertrude Torkonoo, Clemence Honyenuga, Prof Henrietta Mensah Bonsu and Emmanuel Y. Kulendi.
While the minority view was held by Justices Agnes Dordzie and Nene Amegatcher.
