I have followed keenly the happenings in Ghana in regard to the arrest of the protestors,I think Ghana Police are more professional than the police here in UK & in the USA,here, you can’t push down police barricades, attack them, take their car key & still be alive, they’ll shoot. pic.twitter.com/OCWp2WxdVn

The protest, organized by the Democracy Hub group against illegal mining (galamsey), which has seen water bodies and large tracts of forest reserves destroyed, saw demonstrators clash with law enforcement over ther grievances.
Despite the incidents at the protest, Dr. Hopkins expressed his admiration for how the Ghanaian police managed the situation without lethal force.
His comments have sparked a conversation on social media, with many very critical to his post.
