From scrutiny to siege: An open letter to the Vice-President

Indeed, it is true and very factual that “if the fundamentals are weak, the exchange rates will expose you.”

In 2017, when President Akufo-Addo and NPP took over the affairs of the state, we inherited an ailing economy.

Yes, we inherited 4.7cedis to a dollar 💵… yet we slept in Dumso for 4 straight years.

The economy was at IMF.

The previous government under your now favourite incompetent Mahama had cancelled nurses and teachers trainee allowance.

Teachers worked for 3 years but were paid 3 months.

Before the outbreak of Covid, the economy was at its maximum best.

Despite covid and the aftermath thereof..

Despite the Russian Ukraine was and the fallout thereof..

Despite the fact that the Cedi is selling to the dollar at about 17cedis, the lights has been on for about 7yrs.

The Akufo-Addo/Bawumia Administration has remained resolute in executinits’s promises.

Social intervention programs like
1. FREE SHS
2.ONE DISTRICT ONE FACTORY.
3.AGENDA 111
4.ROADS INFRASTRUCTURE.
5.EXPANSION OF NHIS TO COVER MORE DISEASES.
6.ABSORPTION OF BILLS FOR THE ELDERLY OF DIALYSIS PATIENTS.
7.ABSORPTION OF REGISTRATION BILLS FOR BECE CANDIDATE.
8.GHANACARD.

When fuel hit all-timeme high of 22cedis to petrol and 23cedis to diesel.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia came up with gold for oil policy, which has today brought down the prices at the pump.

On the issue galamsey, Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia has made public his vision in fighting galamsey.

He has outlined his vision in curbing the galamsey menace.

Since you publicly admit that Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia has shifted our campaign from propaganda base to issue based.

Sir, can you have a comparative comparison amongst the 2 candidates in terms of their vision???

Franklin Cudjoe, in ending, I will tell u that when it comes to who is competent and who is incompetent, it is not difficult to say.

Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia has displayed so match excellence and deserves to take over the leadership of our beloved Ghana.

Leadership is about providing BOLD SOLUTIONS that will bring hope to the Ghanaian people.

Sincerely,

Nana Hesse Ogyir
