Mr Fred Agbenyo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Guan Constituency of the Oti Region, has been elected as the Member of Parliament.
He polled 9,963 votes to beat Michael Osibo, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Candidate, and Madam Sussie Sekor, National Democratic Party (NDP) Candidate who polled 2,998 and 82 votes, respectively.
Mr Richmond Akafoh, Returning Officer, declared Mr Agbenyo as the winner.
Total valid votes were 13,043, total rejected 121.
