All suspects are currently in custody and are assisting with ongoing investigations into the violence and vandalism that occurred following the recent elections.

The attack on the Electoral Commission office is one of several incidents of unrest that took place after the elections. The Police have been actively working to identify and apprehend those responsible for the disturbances, ensuring that they are held accountable for their actions.

Some persons also invaded offices of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) and some terminals of the Metro Mass Transit.

The police say all the arrested individuals are undergoing legal processes as they continue their efforts to restore order.

In a statement, the Ghana Police Service reassured the public of its commitment to maintaining peace and security throughout the country.

It urged citizens to remain patient as investigations continue and called for public cooperation in providing information to help bring those responsible to justice.

The Police emphasized their dedication to ensuring the safety of all communities and upholding the rule of law.
