Ghanaian club, Ghana Revenue Authority beat Nigerian side, Delta Queens 3-0 to win gold in the 2021 edition of the Africa Cup for Club Champions held in Accra on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
Goals from Effah Barnie, Coffie Ernestina and Antwi Doris ensured the Ghanaian giants cruised to a comfortable win.
The first quarter of the game was intense and cagey as both sides cancelled out each other with their sticks and tricks.
More of the same followed in the second quarter with the ladies from GRA dominating affairs smoothly but no goals from either sides.
GRA finally got the breakthrough courtesy a scheme move which blinded the defender of Delta Queens before Effah Barnie sticked the ball home.
Five minutes later, GRA grabbed their second goal through Ernestina Coffie before Antwi Doris made it three to kill of their Nigeria opponents.
The win is GRA’s second gold medal in the last five years of the competition; proving why they were tipped by pundits to star and go on to win gold.
