Honorable Stephen Asamoah Boateng, the Minister for Chieftaincy And Religious Affairs is wishing Muslims well during this Holy Month of Ramadan.
The Ministry in a statement signed by the Minister said “This is a goodwill message to our beloved Muslim brothers and sisters from the Minister, management, and entire staff of the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.”
It continued: “As this Holy Month begins, we pray that Allah blesses you with patience, strength, and wisdom. May you be inspired and guided to overcome every challenge this Ramadan and always.”
“’Ramadan Kareem’, wishing you all a blessed Ramadan filled with joy, harmony, and countless blessings” the statement concluded.
Ghana joins the rest of the world in observing the fast, following official confirmation by the National Chief Imam of sighting of the Ramadan crescent on Monday.
In the Islamic month of Ramadan, it is obligatory for Muslims to fast, by abstaining from food and water from dawn to sunset and also be charitable throughout the month.
