Samira Bawumia donates hospital equipment to Dormaa West District Hospital

Hajia Samira Bawumia, the wife of the Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, on Monday donated hospital equipment to the Dormaa West District Hospital at Nkrankwanta in the Bono Region.

The equipment include surgical and medical beds, syringes, surgical lamps, gloves, face shields, nose masks, surgical pads and other medical equipment.

Mr Ali Maiga Halidu, the Dormaa West Election 2024 Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presented the items on behalf of the wife to Vice President.

He explained that the donation followed a request made by the people when the second lady visited the area in September this year.

Nana Agyei Akyea Akombi II, the Chief of Nkrakwanta requested for some hospital beds and equipment.

Mr Maiga, promised the people that of “a bigger and greater things” if they voted for the NPP to retain political power in the December 7, Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

Nana Akombi II, thanked the Second Lady for the gesture, and commended the government for bringing the development of the area to the next level.
