The former Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo, when asked in a one-on-one interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen radio show about her belief in the NPP’s candidate in the 2024 elections, she affirmed her faith in him and expressed her unwavering support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s choice as a right choice made by the party, asserting also that he remains the right one.

Adwoa Safo acknowledged the neglect of the party’s base in the Ashanti region, particularly in terms of road infrastructure, as a significant contributing factor to the poor performance in the region.

She explained that this neglect allowed the NDC to secure four parliamentary seats in the region during the 2024 general elections. However, she firmly believes that Dr. Bawumia cannot be held responsible for the NPP’s loss in the 2024 elections.
