The National Women’s Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Madam Kate Gyamfua, popularly known as Obaatampa Kate Gyamfua, has congratulated all the 571, 894 young men and women who sat for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). She has said ayekoo to all of them.
She has said that they have done extremely well to have climbed the first step on the academic ladder.
“You have exhibited gallantry throughout the preparation period and by Grace the battle ends today,” she said in a statement issued on Face book.
“Fortunately for you, you are leaving JHS at a time the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government’s Free SHS is on full gear with the completion of some new model schools to augment the existing infrastructure at the second cycle level.
“I therefore have no shred of doubt that you shall come out with flying colors to enjoy the Free SHS and all the wonderful policies, projects and programmes implemented at the education front.
“As young ones, I implore you to jubilate in moderation, don’t waste too much time on things that will not benefit you and start preparation towards SHS as soon as possible.
“Congratulations my dear ones. Ayekoo!!!” she said in a statement she signed.
