Kidnapped SA Pentecost deacon released

Elder Emmanuel Cudjoe, the National Deacon of South Africa for the Church of Pentecost, has been freed from his kidnappers.

According to a post by Apostle A. Yiadom-Boakye, the National Head of the Church of Pentecost, Elder Cudjoe has returned home safe and well.

“God has done it,  Dear saints. By the grace of God, the National Deacon of South Africa, Elder Emmanuel Cudjoe has come home now alive. God has done it again miraculously. Thank you for your prayers,” he added.

After footage of the robbery at the church went viral, Ghana’s High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa, stated that all efforts are being made to have the member released.

In a notice to the Ghanaian Community in South Africa, the High Commission indicated that the South African police is fully focused on the matter.

“The Mission is presently working with the Church in cooperation with the South Africa Police Service (SAPS) to ensure the speedy and safe release and return of the victim to his family. Kindly note that the South African Police is fully focused on the matter and is working hard to ensure the safe return of our compatriot.”

“Mission wishes to advise all members of the Ghanaian community to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and wellbeing. The mission will update the Community on any further developments related to the case,” part of the notice read.
