The Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has entreated the parliamentary aspirants and all stakeholders in the Party’s parliamentary primaries to rise above individual interests and strongly protect its impeccable credentials and democratic integrity.
“It is important to ensure that by close of the Saturday, 27th January, parliamentary primary process, the party comes out stronger, more united and ready to deliver victory for Ghanaians in the 2024 General Election,” Dr Bawumia stated.
In his goodwill message, the NPP Flagbearer urged all aspirants to be guided by the principles underpinning the Party’s democratic culture- the principles of freedom, fairness, and peace.
“We are all responsible for ensuring the integrity of our party’s electoral system and ensuring compliance with the decisions of the delegates of our party,” Dr Bawumia emphasised.
Vice President Bawumia called on aspirants to recognise that, inasmuch as it takes hard work and sacrifice to make this journey, it is significant to note that it requires heavily concentrated levels of true commitment to serving the people.
The NPP Flagbearer congratulated all Members of Parliament who are running unopposed in their constituencies on the massive show of confidence in their leadership and charged them to validate the profound confidence reposed in them by working with all stakeholders to deliver victories in their respective constituencies’ presidential and parliamentary polls.
The NPP goes to the polls on Saturday, 27th January 2024, for the crucial task of selecting Parliamentary Candidates in constituencies with sitting Members of Parliament to represent the party in the December General Election.
