The Ghana Police has carried out a massive shakeup within the top brass officers of the Service.

According to an intercepted document sighted by THE GHANAIAN PUBLISHER some thirty-nine senior staff of the Service are to be shuffled across the length and breadth of the country.

According to deep throat sources, the document has not been signed by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) George Akuffo Dampare because he has not official taken office as the substantive IGP.

However, the list mentions ACP Kwasi Ofori as the new Director-General for Public Affairs of the Service.

DCOP/Mr. Francis Agrippa Oppong, Dir/M & I Unitat the headquarters   moves to Pensions as director while ACP/Mr. Banabas Nambont Nasumong, i/c Dodowa Division  goes to IRD; ACP/Mr. Isaac Asante, leaves Dansoman Division to be the Director of Operations; ACP/Mr. Samuel Winful,  in charge of Estates at the headquarters goes to Adenta Division; ACP/Mr. Joseph Owusu Ansah, leaves  to   Ashaiman Division/TR; C/Supt/Mr. Samuel Ammisah, i/c  Ashaiman  Divison /TR  to  Finance; C/Supt/Dr. Baba Iddrisu, Director/TPT to Director/DTS/AR; C/Supt/Mr. Alex Kwame Safo-Adu, Deputy Chief Staff Officer to Chief Staff Officer and C/Supt/Mr. Raymond Adofiem Director/CTU to  Director/HROT.

C/Supt/Mr. Joseph Owusu-Bempah, moves from Adenta Division  to  Dansoman Division; C/Supt/MR. Joseph Owusu, from Suhum District to Dodowa Division/TR; DSP/Mr. Andrews Kofi Okonengye leaves Bereku District  to head the MTTD at the National Headquarters while C/Supt/Mrs. Priscilla Eva Bempong, leaves the National Headquarters  to Cantonments District.

The others are C/Supt/Mrs. Fanny Aboagye, for the Estate Unit at the Headquarters; C/Supt/Mr. Theodore Hlormanu, National SWAT Headquarters to operations Kasoa; C/Supt/Mr. Kwame Tawiah, SEMU moves to head the National SWAT; C/Supt/Mr. Jerome Wawal Kay Kanyog, also moves from the R, P & ICT at the National headquarters to SEMU at the Headquarters; Supt/Mr. Al-Meyao Abass Kwarasey CO/RDR  to Director CTU headquarters and Supt/Mrs. Grace Ansah Asamoah, Director DTS/AR to Deputy Chief Staff Officer at the Headquarters.

Supt/Mr Alexander Kwaku Obeng, is leaving the MTTDat the headquarters to be the Director-Public Affairs Department; Supt/Mr. Abdul-Latif A. Nbonwura, Osu District   to   head Karaga District in the Northern Region.

Supt/Mr. Kwame Gyasi, moves from Afari in East Legon District to Peki District in the Volta Region; Supt/Mr. Anthony Arthur goes  to Finance Department in Accra; Supt/Mr. Mohammed Issah Cantona, NPD at the headquarters   to  Suhum District while Supt/Mr. Charles Nyarko Baffour, Finance headquarters goes to Finance Department at the Bono East Region.

Supt/Mrs. Sheilla Kessie Abayie-Buckman, moves from Director Public Affairs Department to Jupol in the Eastern Region.

Supt/Mr. Henri Ayisi Mensah, Transformation headquarters goes to head the Oyibi District while Supt/Mr John Atanga, Police Council goes to head   Airport District MTTU.

The rest are Supt/Mr. Thomas Kwasi Obah, Cantonments District to Effutu West District Central Region; DSP/Mrs. Cecilia H. Appiah-Ampofo, from DOVVSU Airport heads to Legon District and DSP/Mr. Maister Klay, Legon District leaves to Osu District.

DSP/Mrs. Elizabeth Effia Tenge, from the Public Affairs Department in Accra goes to the Volta Region for the same post while DSP/Mrs. Juliana Obeng, also with the CID moves to the Regional Department.

DSP/Mr. Peter Kwesi Okyere, moves from Peki Transports at the headquarters and ASP/Mr. Simon Kesseh, National headquarters moves to Police Council Secretariat.
