The Ghana Police Service, in a statement issued on Thursday, confirmed that two of its officers were fatally shot in East Trassacco, Accra.
The officers were off-duty when they were shot outside their private residence at Block Factory, East Trassacco. One officer died at the scene, while the other died from his injuries shortly after being admitted to Legon Hospital.
