ESLA has disclosed that around 90% of non-sovereign bondholders have successfully submitted their bonds for tender.

This follows the September 16, 2024, announcement to repurchase all outstanding bonds under ESLA PLC’s Tranche E2, E3, E4, and E5 held by non-sovereign bondholders.

Subsequently, on September 30, 2024, ESLA PLC extended the buyback offer deadline, with the revised closing date set for October 14, 2024.

A notice from the Ghana Stock Exchange urged the remaining non-sovereign bondholders to submit their bonds without delay.

ESLA intends to utilize all available avenues to settle the remaining non-sovereign bondholders promptly once the buyback offer concludes.

The bonds will be redeemed at face value, utilizing funds held in the lockbox account.

However, the settlement is scheduled for October 30, 2024.
