GOOD WILL MESSAGE TO REV. JOHN EBENEZER KOFI ODDU ON HIS ELECTION AS THE VOLTA NORTH REGIONAL SUPERINTENDENT OF THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD CHURCH

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Proverbs 22v29 KJV.

It is with utmost pleasure that I extend felicitations from myself and the good people of Buem to you, Reverend John Ebenezer Kofi Oddu, on your well-deserved elevation to the esteemed position of Volta North Regional Superintendent-elect of Assemblies of God, Ghana.

Your progression from the role of Volta North Regional Secretary of Assemblies of God, Ghana, to this new position is a true testament to your dedication to the ministry and your remarkable leadership qualities.

As we gather to celebrate your induction into this pivotal role, I am reminded of the profound influence spiritual leaders like you can have on the socio-political fabric of our country. The responsibilities you now shoulder extend beyond the confines of your congregation; they encompass the broader community, including the political arena.

Our country, Ghana, stands at a crossroads, grappling with serious economic challenges, moral degradation, social decay, and wanton corruption.

In times like these, the church has to be a beacon of truth, integrity, and courage. The time for silence has passed; the church community must rise with a unified voice and condemn the numerous cases of corruption that have plagued this country, stand firm against moral decay, and address the pressing social issues that threaten the well-being of our people.

Your induction is not merely a ceremonial event; it is a clarion call to action. Let your leadership be characterized by a commitment to speaking truth to power, and an unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those you serve.

There will certainly be challenging times as you embark on this new phase, but I have no doubt that God will give you the strength to navigate the storms.

Wishing you a tenure filled with divine wisdom, grace, and success, and it is my hope and prayer that when your tenure comes to an end, you would have left a legacy that would be etched in our memories for many many years.

Congratulations once again on this Honour!

Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams

MP for Buem.
