Incumbent National Youth Organiser of the NDC, George Opare Addo and incumbent, National Women’s Organiser Dr Hanna Louisa Bissiw have been retained to serve as National executives for the next four (4) years.
The duo faced stiff contest from their challengers and managed to win by what some say are close margins.
Dr Bissiw polled 433 votes against Margaret Ansei’s 362 votes to retain the National Women’s Organiser position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Pablo, as affectionately called, also beat his sole contender, Yaw Brogya Genfi by obtaining 533 votes against Brogya’s 508 votes.
Pablo’s win marks his second successive victory over Brogya Genfi, after beating him in the 2018 contest.
Abigail Akwabea Elorm Mensah and Felicia Dzifa Tegah obtained 341 and 260 votes respectively and were also elected as the Deputy Women’s Organisers of the Party.
Osman Abdulai Ayariga and Ruth Dela Seddoh also polled 373 and 313 votes to emerge victorious as Deputy Youth Organisers.
