The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamah, has stressed his commitment to
human capital development in the constituency, stressing that his main focus will continue to be youth empowerment.
Addressing a cross section of the clergy at a breakfast meeting held at the Abeka Presbyterian Church Saturday morning, the MP shared progress made in the areas of education, ICT training, and youth development and stressed that several initiatives are already yielding positive results.

He said, “Around the schools, we’ve been focusing on ICT training. Just last week, we hosted about 300 students. It’s part of our effort to expose them to information and communication technology, and I’m happy to say many NGOs have partnered with us.”
Hon. Patrick Boamah also spoke about the successful launch of free vacation classes aimed at keeping students engaged during the school break.

He disclosed that on Monday, 14th April, the free vacation classes will commence free of charge to keep students and pupils together and safe.
“We want to make sure their minds are on their books so we get the best results. And we are indeed seeing very good results,” he stated.
The MP disclosed that over 500 students have benefitted from the various educational programs rolled out in the constituency, underscoring the transformative impact of such initiatives.

“It’s a very smart thing to go around the campuses and see what these students are doing. My main focus will continue to be on human development and empowerment,” he assured.
He expressed appreciation to the Men of God for their continuous spiritual support.
The clergy commended Hon. Boamah for his proactive engagement and reaffirmed their support through prayers and community collaboration.

There was prayer for peace, unity, and continued development in the constituency and the nation at large at the end of the meeting.
