Three people including a woman have reportedly been killed at Gumyoko, a suburb of the Binduri District in the Upper East Region.
Reports say gunmen stormed the residence of the victims on Saturday [March 8] night and opened fire at them, killing the three people instantly.
It is not clear what triggered this incident.
Even though calm has returned to the area after the incident, there is currently a joint team of military and police in the area to protect lives and property.
