The draw for the FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar in November/December is set to be held on Friday April 1, in Doha, Qatar.
Ahead of the draw on Friday, 28 nations have secured qualification for the tourney with the outstanding three slots to be determined by a playoff involving teams from Asia, Oceania, Europe and North America.

Draw will take place on Friday 1/04/2022 @ 11:00am.
DRAW FORMAT
- For the draw, the 32 teams will be allocated to four pots based on the FIFA World Rankings as of 31 March 2022.
- Pot 1 will contain the hosts Qatar (who were automatically assigned to position A1) and the best seven teams.
- Pot 2 will contain the next best eight teams, with the next best eight teams into Pot 3.
- Pot 4 will contain the five lowest-ranked teams, along with the placeholders for the two inter-confederation play-off winners and the UEFA Path A play-off winner.
- Teams from the same confederation cannot be drawn into the same group except for UEFA teams, for which there will be at least one and no more than two per group.
