Ningo Prampram, Member of Parliament Sam George says nothing will stop him from exposing what he said is the hypocrisy of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
He said there is a difference between religious tolerance and religious prostitution.
Mr. George wrote on X that “We have had all our previous leaders in this country exhibit religious tolerance. And we would continue to be tolerant of every religion in Ghana.”
“All of these are simply because he wants political power. We must denounce hypocrites, tricksters and deceitful people.”
According to him, “What we would not tolerate and continue to expose is the hypocrisy of Bawumia, “How do you, as a supposed Muslim, claim that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour and that he is coming back again to save the world? Which tenet of Islam preaches this?”
He continued: “The facts are sacred, religious tolerance is not the same as religious prostitution. We would continue to expose the dishonesty of Dr. Bawumia.”
Mr. George on Monday appearing on Accra based Metro TV described the NPP 2024 flagbearer as a religious prostitute a comment that has elicited massive condemnation.
Political watchers say Mr. George’s comments is one that is set to pitch Christians against Muslims in the country.
The NDC MP however, seems unfazed when he wrote “I see how the Bawumia legion has gone into overdrive with my cameo appearance yesterday.”
