Communications Director for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi is of the view that people like Bishop Stephen Richard Bosomtwe Ayensu do not deserve to be accorded any form of respect.
According to him, it is clear that Bishop Stephen Richard Bosomtwe Ayensu is a politician in cassock and should therefore be treated as one.
“I have respect for the Men of God. I don’t talk about Pastors because I have respect for them. But some of the Pastors especially Bishop Stephen Richard Bosomtwe Ayensu have done too much. Their ways of doing things have made it clear that they are not Pastors and do not deserve the respect accorded to Pastors.
Clearly, these are politicians in a cassock. Bishop Stephen Richard Bosomtwe Ayensu is not a Pastor. This is an NPP propagandist in cassock, an unintelligent NPP politician in a cassock who has decided to use his pulpit for propaganda,” he said.
He indicated that Bishop Stephen Richard Bosomtwe Ayensu is a disgrace to the Methodist Church of Ghana and it’s about time the Church dissociates itself from him in order to save them any form of humiliation.
To Sammy Gyamfi, a Pastor who does not side with the truth and does not care about the suffering of the masses is certainly not someone who should be taken seriously. He could not fathom why the supposed man of God will take the former President to the cleaners just because he was providing an alternative.
“What’s John Mahama’s crime in dreaming about the fact that e-levy will bring hardship to the people of Ghana so when he is given the mandate he will repeal it?
Bishop Stephen Richard Bosomtwe Ayensu who is a Methodist Bishop in an interview disclosed that the former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama will never win power to repeal the controversial e-levy.
He said the move by the government to introduce e-levy is to make the country go paperless in order to help fight corruption but evil like John Dramani Mahama who does not like good things have promised to repeal a good levy like the e-levy.
