Media reports of voting at Abeka NPP Office false-Police

The Police say claims that voting was taking place in the New Patriotic Party office at Abeka in the Okaikwei Central Constituency are false.

A statement issued by the Police said investigations had revealed that the place was not a polling station and no voting was taking place at the said office.

It urged the public to disregard this claim and partner the Police as they worked towards avoiding misinformation and disinformation during this critical time and beyond.

Meanwhile, the Police has arrested a polling station agent for double voting at the Wassa Akropong-Appiahkrom polling station A in the Western Region in the ongoing general elections.

The suspect, Kwofie Stephen, is currently in custody, assisting the Police investigation.
