Presentation of the Message on the State of the Nation in Parliament has been postponed to March 8.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was scheduled to appear before the House to deliver the State of the Nation Address next week, February 28.
The presentation has, however, been rescheduled to March 8.
The address is pursuant to Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution.
President Akufo-Addo will be expected to present his plans for next year including government programs and what strategies the government intends to implement, how to achieve them, and how to rally the people of Ghana towards accelerated national development and progress, among others.
The President is expected to address the debt exchange programme and the government strategy for its successful completion.
This was revealed by the Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh who presented the business statement for the ensuing week ending March 3.
