StanChart announces GH¢0.0420 dividend for March 2022

Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC has announced a dividend of GH¢0.0420 (dividend rate of 16.2155 %) per preference share in respect of the dividend payment for March 2022. All preference shareholders registered in the books of SCB at the close of business on Friday, February 18, 2022, will qualify for the dividend. 

The Register of preference shareholders will be closed from Monday, February 21, 2022, to Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

The ex-dividend date has been set as Wednesday, February 16, 2022. 

Consequently, an investor purchasing SCB preference shares before this date will be entitled to the dividend.

However, an investor buying SCB preference shares on or after Wednesday, 16th February 2022 will not be entitled to the dividend. 

The dividend of GH¢0.0420 per preference share will be paid on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
