Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has endorsed the candidature of Stephen Ayesu Ntim as the next National Chairman for the ruling New Patriotic Party.
He stated there is no way Stephen Ayesu Ntim would lose the National Chairman position this time around.
In an interview on Net2 TV’s Dialogue morning show, the NPP MP indicated, “Oh, Stephen Ntim will win. Even if he doesn’t go to the stadium or the grounds, he will win.”
“They can even paste Ntim’s picture on a tin as against the other contenders, he will still win. All the others are wasting their time” the maverick MP said.
“Asamoah Boateng is my good friend but when you advise him, he would not listen,” he stated.
He emphasized that these upcoming elections are going to be protests votes: “These elections are protests votes and so nobody can intimidate anybody, I am telling them. So Ntim will win massively, I am telling you”
The NPP will hold its national elections in July 2022. The party is currently conducting its polling station and electoral area elections.
