Supporters of Bibiani MP debunk allegations of negligence of duty as claims by NDC aspirant

The supporters of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency have chanced on an unsubstantiated allegation leveled against the hard-working MP on Social Media.

The public is hereby entreated to treat the said publication with the contempt it deserves.

The NDC aspirant in a release, alleged that the Member of Parliament does not pay attention to the welfare of the constituents.

It was also stated that the MP’s negligence led to the brutalities at Bibiani Zongo.

The member of Parliament was also accused of turning a deaf ear to the resettlement of Bibiani Old Town and Zongo communities by Asante Gold Corporation, Bibiani Ltd.

We would like to state without equivocation that either Mr. Kwame Obeng Adjinah and his team have difficulty comprehending the term welfare or the move is a deliberate attempt to dent the image of the Member of Parliament.

As a result of the welfare of the people of Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality, Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng purchased a 110 KVA gen set for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal hospital.

The essence of the generator was to supply power to the hospital when the power from the national grid goes off.

He has also purchased 4 Nissan hardbody pickup vehicles for police officers and Western North Secretariat.

The pickup vehicles for the police officers were to be used to patrol every nook and cranny to combat crime.

The MP has also secured permanent jobs for an uncountable number of youth in the Municipality and other parts of the Western North Region.

Twenty (20) Mechanized boreholes have also been constructed to relieve the constituents of difficulties associated with clean and safe water.

The MP is doing everything possible to alleviate human suffering- he has trained 100 youth in heavy-duty machines, modern printing, and marketing.

The MP’s presence at funerals and weddings leaves much to be desired.

Concerning the clash between the military and the Bibiani Zongo community, the Member of Parliament can not be held responsible for that unfortunate incident.

The MP went to the scene immediately after the incident to dialogue with the chief and people for the next action to be taken. The victims were also visited and given words of consolation and financial support by the MP.


We would like to state categorically that the incident occurred not as a result of the dereliction of the MP’s duty.

Furthermore, on Wednesday, 8th February 2023, the outspoken member of Parliament issued a statement in Parliament seeking relief and an in-depth investigation into the matter.

All constituents will attest to the fact that the swift manner in which the issue was handled indicated that the member of Parliament is working.

The MP is by this release craving the indulgence of all residents of Bibiani Zongo to exercise restraint as he joins hands with other development partners to seek justice for them.

Concerning the resettlement of Bibiani Old Town and Zongo communities, the MP has contributed immensely to the implementation of the policy.

This is a very huge and technical project that leaders and all stakeholders should tackle with circumspection.

It would be recalled that the Regional Minister and his entourage visited the Mines and held close-door meetings with the Management.

We are urging the inhabitants of the affected communities to be optimistic and keep their fingers crossed since plans are far advanced for the project to kick off

ADVICE TO ROYAL

The supporters of the MP would like to plead with Royal to concentrate on his primaries and desist from personal innuendos, vilification, and character assassination. Mr. Alfred Obeng-Boateng made several donations to Education, Health, and Infrastructure before his assumption to the high office of a Member of Parliament.

Mr. Kwame Adjinah, as alisa Royal should take a queue from our MP by offering assistance to the poor and the needy and stop unnecessary attacks.

Again, he is an unknown element in politic as such we would admonish him to rescind his decision to contest the primaries and be a disciple of some of the experienced hands in his party.

This would enable him to be groomed for future events.

Finally, it is well established that the Approachers brand is an international brand with international recognition and is so attractive and influential.

It is also not an understatement that those who associate with the brand reap huge benefits. As such, most people want to associate with us to gain the needed recognition, acceptance, and public sympathy.

Though bad news sells, however, Mr. Alfred Obeng-Boateng’hard earned reputation that cannot be dented by any detractor.

We rather enjoin all ensundary to embrace unity and peace in the Constituency to get the expected development.
