National Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kate Gyamfua, has denied audio purporting to be coming from her lambasting the Roads and Highways Minister for ‘constructing roads only in his constituency.’
According to her, the contents of the audio could not have come from her but doctored by detractors to achieve their malicious intentions and tarnish her reputation.
In a statement she indicated the Minister, also MP for Atiwa, is one of the finest and hardworking Ministers of the Akufo-Addo government.
She said, “There is no way I can denigrate and malign his good works under any circumstances.”
“I hereby entreat all well-meaning Ghanaians to treat the said tape with all the contempt it deserves, and see it as empty and malicious, with the sole aim of causing my downfall,” she added.

It is with the utmost surprise and dismay, that an audio making the rounds, and purporting to have emanated from my person and seeking to castigate and lambast the Roads and Highways minister, Honourable Amoako Atta, for constructing roads ,only in his constituency, is palpably false and has no iota of truth in it.
I hereby state categorically and unequivocally, that such a statement could not have come from me, and could only be a doctored tape by my detractors to acieve their malicious intentions and tarnish my hard won reputation.
Hon Amoako Atta who is also the MP for Atiwa West, is undoubtedly one of the finest and hard working ministers in the government of His Excellency, Nana Akuffo Addo, and there is no way I can denigrate and malign his good works under any circumstances.
I hereby entreat all well meaning Ghanaians, to treat the said tape with all the contempt it deserves, and see it as empty and malicious, with the sole aim of causing my downfall.
I categorically assure all NPP faithfuls and Ghanaians at large, that I will continue to discharge my duties as faithfully and decisively as ever and will never shirk my responsibilities ever towards the party and mother Ghana
