Shuttle train service on the Tema-Accra railway is expected to resume Monday, July 18, 2022.
The resumption of the shuttle train service follows the rehabilitation of the railway line by the Ghana Railway Company Limited (GRCL).
In a press statement issued on Friday, July 15, 2022, the GRCL however, noted a restricted speed limit of 35km/h has been imposed on the movement of the train to enable its technical team continue addressing any teething problems that may emerge during the early stages of the resumption of the shuttle service.
“There would also be other GRCL officials onboard the train to obtain the views and concerns of commuters to enable GRCL address them to ensure smooth running of the passenger service to the best satisfaction of clients,” added the statement.
