Theresa Kufuor, the late former First Lady, has been honored by the former president John Agyekum Kufuor’s press secretary.
In a statement released on Monday, Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong referred to the former First Lady as a “mother to all” who continuously showed compassion and love to people in need.
“Always ready with a kind word of wise counsel, Auntie Theresa opened her heart and home to all. She took me in as a son and on countless occasions I enjoyed her culinary skills,” portions of his statement read.
After a protracted illness, Madam Kufuor passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was 87-year-old age.
Mr. Agyepong revealed his honest emotions in addition to expressing his profound gratitude for the crucial part the former First Lady played in his life. , saying, “Auntie Theresa will be sorely missed by my wife Lawrencia and our kids. Auntie Aba is gone with her warmth, grace and kindness. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
