Lawrence Senyo Adiase, well known as DSL, received the car promised as part of his winning package on July 22, 2022. The simple ceremony took place at Media General premises.
DSL, who won Mentor X competition in 2021, received GH¢10,000, products worth GH¢ 500,000, which included two mastered songs, a record deal with Lynx GH, sponsors’ products and 100k airtime. The car presented to him was promised to come at a later date. That promise was fulfilled today.
In a quick interview with Mr Francis Doku, the General Manager of MG Television, he shared the next steps for the most sought-after unearthing-musical talent show. He said, “The reason DSL won was that he has very good talent. Very exceptional talent.”
According to Mr Doku, individuals who watched the season from the previous year could attest that the winner, DSL, performed well throughout the show. Following the season, DSL released two songs, both of which are doing well.
“Immediately after Ghana’s Most Beautiful in October, the new season of Mentor will begin. We are preparing ourselves, looking at all the things that are needed to make sure we have a good season. Very soon, we’ll announce the auditions and urge young people who have musical talents and want to go beyond singing in the bathroom, become global stars, to come and take part in the new season of Mentor,” the General Manager tells the public.
