The Ablekuma West Constituency has seen a significant boost in its development with the commissioning of three key projects by the Member of Parliament, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful.

The newly unveiled projects include a disability-friendly footbridge at Nasarawa, a community center and palace in the same area, and a school canteen at Gbegbeyise.

The footbridge at Nasarawa, designed to accommodate people with disabilities, is expected to improve accessibility between two major economic zones in the constituency and connect several socially diverse communities.

“This footbridge will allow citizens to move freely and safely between important areas, helping to create a more integrated and unified municipality,” Owusu-Ekuful remarked.

The new school canteen at Gbegbeyise addresses a longstanding need for a hygienic dining facility for students.

The canteen will enhance the learning environment by ensuring students can access nutritious meals through the government’s school feeding program.

“With this canteen, our children can enjoy decent meals in a clean space, which will help them focus better in class,” Owusu-Ekuful added.

Additionally, the community center and palace at Nasarawa provide a much-needed venue for social events and gatherings.

“This community center and palace will serve as a hub for our people to come together, celebrate, and hold important functions,” she stated.

Expressing her gratitude to the residents in Ablekuma West for their continuous support, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful called on the community to maintain the projects.

“I ask that you take good care of these facilities so that they can serve us all for years to come,” she said.

She also encouraged the gathering to embrace Ghana’s digital future and vote for her and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the importance of their leadership in continuing the constituency’s development.
