Western Regional Minister and also Member of Parliament for Takoradi, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah has commissioned an astroturf sports facility for Wassa Akropong.
The artificial turf turn is one of the numerous Astro turfs that have been commissioned in the Western Region to provide befitting infrastructure for the soccer communities by the President Akufo-Addo-led government.
The initiative, he said, is to help the youth and the lovers of the game to have a facility to train and also develop their talent.
The MP called on all stakeholders to ensure the place is well-maintained to achieve its lasting purpose
