Former President John Dramani Mahama has led a delegation from his party to pay a visit to founder and General Overseer of United Denominations Bishop Dag Heward-Mills.
His visit follows a similar one by President Nana Akufo-Addo early this week.
Mr. Mahama taking to Facebook to announce his visit to the bereaved man of God hwrote “I visited the Heward-Mills family on Thursday evening to express my condolences to Bishop Dag and the family on the loss of their son, Dr. David Heward-Mills.
Mr, Mahama added: “Losing your child is a painful experience. Bishop Dag, his family and the church’s loss is our loss. We all feel the deep pain. I also expressed the condolences of my wife, Lordina, and the National Democratic Congress to the family and the Lighthouse Group of Churches.”
Bishop Dag lost his first son last week in the United States.
